Los Angeles Clippers swing man Ricky Davis is scheduled to serve a 5 game suspension for violating the NBA’s ant-drug program.  What are Davis’s plans in the meantime you ask ?? Well according to this flyer we received, Davis will be hosting “Something SO Special” on New Years Day night at DJ’s Gentlemen’s club in Phoenix, Arizona. This seems convenient since the next day the Clippers will play in Phoenix against the Suns. The flyer goes on to mention that Baron Davis and Marcus Camby (also Clippers) will be special guests at the event. Somehow I don’t think David Stern would be too happy about this, NBA Conduct policy ?? I will stop by that club this Sunday for the free BBQ dinner. Nothing beats strippers and brisket !!

The Associated Press EUGENE, Ore. — Adult film actress Janine M. James has been sentenced to six months in federal prison for failing to pay more than $200,000 in taxes to the Internal Revenue Service.

U.S. District Judge Thomas Coffin ruled Monday that James must report to prison March 10 and pay her outstanding taxes.

The 40-year-old pleaded guilty in August.

The U.S. Attorney’s office said the former Penthouse model spent more than $750,000 between 2000 and 2006 while failing to make any payments to the IRS.

James, also known as Janine Lindemulder, moved to Oregon after her marriage to TV motorcycle maker Jesse James ended.

Jesse James later married Sandra Bullock.

The U.S. Attorney’s office says Janine James’ current address is in Huntington Beach, Calif.

Now this has the makings of great reality TV!!

Larry Fitzgerald — the star wide receiver for the Arizona Cardinals — has been ordered to stay away from his baby mama and his 11-month-old son after he allegedly knocked her around a room and pulled her hair out.

Angela Nazario claims she brought the couple’s son to visit Larry at his Phoenix home last October when the former lovers began arguing.

Nazario alleges in her legal papers filed in Arizona, Fitzgerald attempted to “diffuse the situation” by raising his fist and challenging her to a play fight. Nazario admits she responded by swinging at him and “may have hit his face.”

Fitzgerald then turned from playful to enraged, allegedly pushing Nazario down to her knees. She claims he “grabbed me by my hair with both hands on the back of my head very very hard and tossed me across the room.”

Later, when she tried to leave with her son, Nazario says Fitzgerald “grabbed the back of my neck and slammed me down on the marble floor … [I] was disoriented for awhile and could not get up, I remember he mumbled something about ‘that’s what happens when you try taking my son away from me.’” As she got in the car to leave she realized she had lost “chunks” of hair.

He got mad cause he challenged her to a slap fight and got domed!! Larry Fitzgerald the new and improved Ike Turner ?

Halle Berry was named Esquire Magazine’s sexiest woman alive in their November 2008 issue.  “I don’t know exactly what it means, but being 42 and having just had a baby I think I’ll take it, ” Berry said about getting the honor.  Past winners of the award include Charlize Theron and Jessica Biel.

Halle Berry is hot, but sexiest woman alive, I’d have to disagree with that.  The people at Esquire need to have their eyes checked.  I submit the two pictures above of Berry on an average day out.  I’ve woke up to better looking girls than that.  The third pic shows what she can look like with photoshop and a whole lot of product.  Angelina Jolie is my pick, she oozes sexy, and probably a few other things!

The Denver Broncos have fired Coach Mike Shanahan after collapse that saw them losing four straight games and lead in the division to the San Diego Chargers.  This ends a 13 year career in Denver for Shanahan, who started with the Broncos in 1995.  Shanahan had been the beloved coach of the Broncos after leading them to back to back Superbowl victories in 1998 and 1999, but recent mediocrity including 3 straight years out of the playoffs had fans calling for a change.  Broncos Owner Pat Bowlen released this statement; “After giving this careful consideration, I have concluded that a change in our football operations is in the best interests of the Denver Broncos.”

It’s about time!!!  This guy has been riding Elways coat tail since Elway carried his butt to the two championships.  The Broncos collapse was just the icing on the cake.  I guess not making the playoffs better than a 1 and done, at least the players get to start their vacations early.
