Bring up the old debate, who is better MJ or Kobe ??

The one player you hear in comparisons to # 23 aka Air Jordan aka Micheal Jordan is former # 8 now # 24 aka Kobe Bryant. Other comparisons to MJ have come and gone, some before him like Clyde Drexler, some during like Harold “Baby Jordan” Miner, Vince Carter, and for like a month of his rookie season Jason Richardson. The one that even deserves any breath wasted on it (besides Lebron in a few years) is Kobe Bryant. Kobe has many chapters left to write in his career and it will start with winning a championship on his own without Shaq’s help (“Hey Kobe you couldn’t win without me”). Then again Jordan did not win a title without top 50 all time NBA player Scottie Pippen. Jordan ended up with 6 rings and never lost a finals appearance. Kobe has 3 so far, but was ousted last year when the Lakers lost to the Boston Celtics. Maybe in the years to come the debate will settle itself with pure facts or we might just have to buy Phil Jackson’s tell all book that i’m sure will appear a few years after retirement.

I think MJ hands down, because he has the better shoe, the better nick name, and he was better at cheating on his spouse (Space Jam’s movie set, thank you Mr. Warner Brothers security guard, i’ve been waiting to use that one).

NFL Saturday night pick week 16 (last week 4 for 5)

Tonight’s game is the Dallas Cowboys at 9-5 hosting the Baltimore Ravens, also 9-5. This is a huge game for both teams and really a must win to stay ahead in the playoff race with 2 weeks left. The line on this game is the Cowboys giving 4 at home. I take the Cowboys in this one but I buy the point down to 3, so you are protected if this is won by a field goal witch it very well could be. You are probably thinking why not take the Ravens then getting 4 ??  Good question, I could also see the Cowboys winning big, so you are playing it safer and covering more possible outcomes.     Cowboys ( buy the point down ) – 3
