Superbowl XLIII (thats 43) Prediction by Jim Donaghy

Saturday, January 31st, 2009

Here it is the big game, Superbowl XLIII 43 the Pittsburgh Steelers vs. the Arizona Cardinals. If you remember I picked the Steelers to face the Panthers in the Bowl. The line hasn’t moved like I thought it would, so far. The Steelers are giving up 6.5 points to the Cards. The weather reports were initially suggesting rain but now it is looking like partly cloudy and 50 degrees by halftime. The Steelers have a great D and I feel a better offense than the Eagles, the Cards have a good offense but will not be able to run against Pitt. Look for the Cards to feature Anquan Boldin, more than Fitzgerald in the game. I can see Santonio Holmes taking a long one to the house and Kurt Warner Blitzed and frustrated all day., with all this said it will be a good game and my heart tells me to take the Cardinals…. but you never bet with your heart. THE ONLY TEAM I AM A FAN OF IS  $TEAM GREEN $ so take the Steelers giving up 6.5 to cover and win the game.

Shaq says fued with Kobe Bryant a publicity stunt !! Marketing Gimmick ??

Saturday, January 31st, 2009

Shaquille O’neil in an interview with ESPN’s Steven A. Smith stated that the feud with LA Lakers Superstar and former teammate Kobe Bryant, was all for publicity and marketing! The interview focused on how it would feel for Shaq to play on a Western Conference All Star team with Bryant as a teammate and former coach Phil Jackson as his coach. Shaq went on to say that right now Kobe is the MVP of the league, to the bewilderment of Smith, who undoubtedly feels LeBron James is a little more deserving. Below is part of the interview:

I suppose Tupac and Biggie was a publicity stunt too ? and I’m sure so it looked believable Kobe Bryant acquired the rape charge, so that he could tell the cops you payoff chicks that you cheat on your wife with!!  Like you said Shaq, you are a “marketing Genius” . I personally am calling BullShaq  on this one !!

No wonder why a show like this and Bromance suck, if they hold auditions off Craigslist!! and who came up with the wording of the ad, Paris needs to fire them and hold auditions for that position, that would make a better show!! Somehow I don’t think Paris Hilton and Craigslist attract the same clientele , maybe they do !!  and by the way who the F*&*k is Craig and what list does he have, the only Craig I know was in Friday !!

You Know times are tough when A Pawn Shop takes out a Superbowl AD !!

Friday, January 30th, 2009

pic(Cash4Gold.com)

Superbowl Sunday is only 2 full days away, no matter what team you are pulling for, most people look forward to the commercials. It has been a standard, for the who’s who in business and advertising to air extravagant commercials (this years cost $3million for a 30 sec. spot) during the breaks in the game, that way they are viewed by most of the people in America and many more world wide. A few years back, an unheard of company at the time, GODaddy.com took a chance and paid $2million for a Superbowl ad that helped kick start them into a household name today.

The state of the economy has been a hot topic and a harsh reality for months, so much so that a company called Cash4gold.com is taking out a Superbowl ad! The add is set to feature MC Hammer and ED McMahon, both one time famous success stories who have faced financial challenges recently. The basis of the company is that anyone can send in their “unwanted” gold, platinum  and silver jewelry, in exchange for cash or a deposit into their account.

This is not the only Major move Cash4Gold has recently made, just a few days ago the NBA’s Washington Wizards announced that Cash4Gold was added as an official corporate partner. I think it goes without saying that the way the economy is going and the moves this company is making, there are going to be many people cashing in their “unwanted” precious metals.

If the economy is as bad as everyone keeps saying by next year you are gonna have Superbowl ads from Plasma4cash.com and SpermforCash.org  !!  I’m just sayin
