Vincent Jackson – A Role Model For Kids

Wide Reciever Vincent Jackson of the San Diego Chargers was arrested Tuesday morning on state Route 52 in San Diego, for suspicion of DUI.  Jackson was already on probation for an earlier DUI, and was booked at the county jail and released.  A.J. Smith the GM of the Chargers was quoted as saying, “Obviously we’re disappointed, We take these issues very seriously. Moving forward, we will monitor the situation and have no further comment.”  No word yet on if Vincent Jackson will be available for this weekends playoff game against the Pittsburg Steelers, but likely could be suspended by the NFL.

DUI’s are becoming more popular than tatoos and gold chains.  Athletes seem to collect em like kids collect sports cards.  Parents should be concerned about athletes as role models, their kids may become raping, murdering, animal abusing, drunk, drug addicted, abusive as$holes.  I hope my kid grows up to be just like Rae Carruth!

JANUARY 6–In a bizarre incident that will surely lead to litigation (or an out-of-court settlement), a skier at Colorado’s ritzy Vail resort was left dangling upside down and pants-less from a chairlift last Friday morning. The January 2 mishap apparently occurred after the male skier and a child boarded a high-speed lift in Vail’s Blue Sky Basin. It appears that the chairlift’s fold-down seat was somehow not in the lowered position, which caused the man to partially fall through the resulting gap. His right ski got jammed in the ascending chairlift, and that kept him upended since his boot never dislodged from its binding. As in the pics (which were snapped by fellow skiers), the Skyline Express lift was stopped shortly after the pair’s botched 10:30 AM boarding resulted in the man dangling from the lift. The exposed skier was stuck for about 15 minutes before Vail personnel backed the lift up and successfully got the man down from the four-seat chair.

This is not the new Southwest Airlines commercial but it should be. Micah Rangel of San Francisco, Congratulations you just received your 15 minutes of fame !! Passersby reportedly checked on his condition asking “hows it hanging dude?”
