Chris Brown and his attorney Mark Geragos did not enter a plea to the two felony charges. The judge granted Brown’s request for a continuance to April 6th.

It is unclear why they wanted to postpone the case — possibly to conduct further investigations or possibly to strike a plea deal. We just don’t know…

Based on our information, it seems Brown wants to avoid a trial at all costs because the picture of Rihanna taken one day after the incident — which has not been seen anywhere publicly — is unbelievable.

Chris Brown has just been charged with felony assault and making Criminals threats. Brown will be arranged today at 3:30 pm in downtown LA. There is already numerous news and Internet reporters, as well as paparazzi camping out in front of the Courthouse. The charging document lists the alleged victim as “Robin F” not Rihanna. It is rumored that Brown, if found guilty could face somewhere between 4 to 5 years in prison.

IRVING – Roy Williams is no longer a Dallas Cowboy.

After attempts to trade the five-time Pro Bowl safety failed, the Cowboys decided to release Williams, their No. 1 draft pick in 2002. Williams confirmed his release Thursday morning in a text message.

By cutting Williams, the Cowboys save roughly $2 million in salary-cap space in 2009 and close the book on a player who was once the face of the franchise.

Williams was named to the Pro Bowl from 2003 to ‘07, earning a reputation as one of the NFL’s most-feared hitters. He was also named All-Pro in 2003 and only five defensive players in franchise history have played in more Pro Bowls than Williams as a Cowboy. He finished his Dallas career with 611 tackles, 6½ sacks, 22 tackles for loss, 21 quarterback pressures, 56 pass deflections and 19 interceptions. He returned three for a touchdown, one shy of the team record.

Williams, 28, was limited to three games in 2008 because of a twice fractured right forearm and he finished with just nine tackles.

The Cowboys signed Williams to a $25 million extension on Aug. 2, 2006, that included an $11.1 million signing bonus, which at the time was the most in history for a safety. But Williams’ coverage skills became more of an issue over the last few years, something that he believed was a result in the change to the 3-4 scheme from the 4-3 system the Cowboys used when he was drafted out of Oklahoma.

Shocking new evidence about what happened in the car the night Chris Brown allegedly beat Rihanna.

FOX 11 in L.A. obtained LAPD detectives notes from a search warrant in the case. According to the notes, Rihanna read a three-page text message on Brown’s phone from a woman. An argument ensued and Brown allegedly tried forcing Rihanna out of the car but couldn’t because she was wearing her seat belt.

Brown then allegedly shoved Rihanna’s head against the passenger window. When Rihanna turned to face him, Brown punched her, then continued punching her while driving, according to the detective’s notes.

The Dallas Cowboys have released controversial wide receiver Terrell Owens, sources told ESPN’s Michael Smith late Wednesday.

In late February, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones did not deny the team was discussing the possible release of Owens. Owens’ future was brought up again in meetings at Valley Ranch on Wednesday, but Jones had not made a final decision when most people left the building, a source told ESPN.com’s Matt Mosley.

“There are several decisions on our roster we have to look at,” Jones said in February. “This is the time of year we do that. I’m not trying to be trite, but as you all know we’re evaluating players in college, we’re evaluating free agents and we’re evaluating our own roster. This is an ongoing thing, not any different than this time last year.”
