The mother of New York Yankee pitcher Joba Chamberlain has been arrested for allegedly slinging hardcore drugs to an undercover cop.

Jacqueline Standley was popped at her Lincoln, Neb. apartment on Saturday night after allegedly selling “.6 gram of methamphetamine in a plastic bag” to a cop for $110 back in February.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency has removed a children’s coloring book from its web site following criticism over its inclusion of drawings of the September 11 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center. The coloring book, titled “A Scary Thing Happened,” is geared towards helping kids “cope with disasters,” and was prepared by a Minnesota crisis response team.

I truly thought this, the day I heard Favre got his release from the New York Jets, the keyword being release, not being left on the reserve/retired list, witch is normal procedure when a player retires from the League.

It made me think, would Brett dare try another comeback, make a mockery of the retirement process and the press conference that comes with it and return to the NFL. I have to say yes  I think he will and with only one destination in mind, that of Minnesota. It is what he wanted last year, but because of tampering allegations can never rally admit to.

The NBA will announce The Cleveland Cavaliers LeBron James, its 08/09 league MVP.   The announcement will be made at James’ alma mater, St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio. All his Cavs teammates are expected to attend, witch says a lot about James the player and the person. James averaged 28.4 points, 7.6 rebounds and 7.2 assists during the regular season, his sixth in the NBA, in which  he led Cleveland to a team-record 66 games and earned the top overall seed in the playoffs.

I called it !! He actually deserved it last year and now will be in every MVP discussion for the next 10 years !!  I swear they created him in a lab with Yao Ming or at least put HGH in his gerbers !!
