Learn MoreSaints beat the Colts to win the Superbowl !!(According to Madden Football)
Last Updated on Thursday, 4 February 2010 12:57 Written by admin Thursday, 4 February 2010 12:57

Madden NFL popped into headlines today, predicting a sunny Super Bowl win for the New Orleans Saints, and eight months of winter for the Indianapolis Colts.
Every year, Electronic Arts runs a Super Bowl simulation within their video game, Madden NFL. And five out of the last six years, the game’s results have predicted the Super Bowl winner correctly. The simulation’s only miss was the Giants’ Super Bowl XLII victory over the Patriots, and even Nostradamus couldn’t have seen that one coming.

Learn MoreSuperbowl XLIII (thats 43) Prediction by Jim Donaghy
Last Updated on Saturday, 31 January 2009 12:55 Written by admin Saturday, 31 January 2009 12:55
Here it is the big game, Superbowl XLIII 43 the Pittsburgh Steelers vs. the Arizona Cardinals. If you remember I picked the Steelers to face the Panthers in the Bowl. The line hasn’t moved like I thought it would, so far. The Steelers are giving up 6.5 points to the Cards. The weather reports were initially suggesting rain but now it is looking like partly cloudy and 50 degrees by halftime. The Steelers have a great D and I feel a better offense than the Eagles, the Cards have a good offense but will not be able to run against Pitt. Look for the Cards to feature Anquan Boldin, more than Fitzgerald in the game. I can see Santonio Holmes taking a long one to the house and Kurt Warner Blitzed and frustrated all day., with all this said it will be a good game and my heart tells me to take the Cardinals…. but you never bet with your heart. THE ONLY TEAM I AM A FAN OF IS $TEAM GREEN $ so take the Steelers giving up 6.5 to cover and win the game.

Take Arizona Cardinals getting 3.5 at home against the Philadelphia Eagles. I know it sounds crazy but this is a different team than the one the Eagles destroyed earlier this year, plus they are at home on this one. The Cards should have a few wrinkles to throw at Philly and the home crowd will be rockin! Cardinals + 3.5
Take the Pittsburgh Steelers to cover the 5 points at home against the Baltimore Ravens. It will be a good game showcasing the two best defensive units in the NFL. The Steelers offense is better though and Samari Rolle will be out and so might Terrell Suggs for Baltimore. Steelers – 5

This is who Eddie was lusting after ???
Here is Eddie Curry’s response to the allegations that are being made by his former driver David Kluchinsky as told to the NY Post.
“It’s false, and everyone who knows me knows I’m not a racist,” he said after the Knicks beat the Hornets in New Orleans. “I’ve never made a comment like that, playing, or nothing. . . . That’s incredible, man.”…[Curry] aid last night that Kuchinsky had contacted a friend of his, “and every time, it was something different.First time, it was to curse me out. Second time, it was to apologize. Third time, it was ‘If Eddy doesn’t call me, I’m going to sue him.’ I just never, ever thought it would go past what it did, which was just idle threats, money-or-else kind of stuff.”
Below is Shaq’s response to hearing the story using his twitter account :

NFL Playoffs Round 2 (3 for 4 last week)
Last Updated on Saturday, 10 January 2009 02:54 Written by admin Saturday, 10 January 2009 02:54
Take the Baltimore Ravens getting 3 points on the road against the Tennesse Titans. It will be a battle since both teams are known for defense. I think its a pretty even contest but i think the Ravens have the best player on the field in Ed Reed. Take the 3 points in a close game. Ravens + 3
Take the Carolina Panthers at home to cover 9.5 against the Arizona Cardinals. The cardinals won’t be able to run like they did last week and Julius Peppers and CO. are one hard hit from taking Warner out of the game. Anquan Boldin status is uncertain at this point, even with him Carolina covers. Expect a big game from Deangelo Williams. Panthers – 9.5

Learn MoreTNT To Barkley, You Blew It. A .149 That Is!
Last Updated on Saturday, 10 January 2009 12:09 Written by admin Saturday, 10 January 2009 12:07
As seen on ESPN.com
Charles Barkley is taking a leave of absence from the broadcast booth.
The announcement by Turner Sports came Friday, hours after police said the 45-year-old former NBA star was legally drunk when police arrested him Dec. 31 on suspicion of drunken driving in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Test results show Barkley had a blood-alcohol level at .149, nearly twice the legal limit of .08 in Arizona.
While waiting for results of the blood test, TNT considered suspending Barkley if the results showed his blood-alcohol content was over the legal limit, a source told ESPN.com.
Barkley will be off the air for a minimum of several weeks and no return date has been set, a person familiar with the situation told The Associated Press. The person requested anonymity because he was not authorized to discuss it.
“I have spoken with Charles Barkley regarding the incident. .. and I understand he has hired a lawyer to represent him regarding this matter,” said David Levy, president of TNT Sports, in a statement. “When I spoke with Charles, he was apologetic for the events that transpired and it was obvious he understands the significance of the situation. This is an important time for Charles as he deals with the legal and personal issues that confront him. Charles is a valued part of the Turner Sports organization and we are concerned for his well-being.”
A Gilbert officer working a regional DUI task force stopped Barkley shortly after he left a popular nightclub at about 1:30 a.m. He failed field sobriety tests but was cooperative.
Barkley was booked and released at a field command post and later issued a statement saying he was disappointed he put himself in that situation.
Barkley’s attorney wasn’t immediately available for comment Friday.
Damn that must have been some good head. TNT had their hands tied on this one. They can’t fire the guy because he brings in the ratings. Barkley is smart, he will get a little vacation, and be back with TNT before the playoffs start. With all the recent DUI’s, the NBA can’t be happy about this…

Take the Arizona Cardinals at home against the Atlanta Falcons. The line right now is Cardinals getting 2 points, I would buy the point as insurance to at least push if the game is decided by a Falcons field goal. I like the cardinals offense at home in the battle of 2 inexperienced playoff teams. Cardinals (buy the point) +3
Take the San Diego Chargers getting 1 at Home against The Indianapolis Colts. This will be a good game of 2 playoff regulars and a repeat of last year, this is 2009 though and I like the Chargers at home this time. chargers +1
Take the Baltimore Ravens giving up 3 on the road against the Miami Dolphins. Im going with the better defense in this one. Baltimore – 3
Take the Minnesota Vikings at home getting 3 vs the Philadelphia Eagles. I will go with the Vikings running attack and defense in the dome against a hot Eagles team. Vikings + 3

Learn MoreNFL end of regular season week 17 picks (3 for 5 last week)
Last Updated on Wednesday, 31 December 2009 10:48 Written by admin Saturday, 27 December 2008 05:46
Take the Chicago Bears on the road against the Houston Texans getting 3 points. This is line is funny, it started as the Bears a 1 point favorite, what changed to give them 3 ? They are playing for a shot at the playoffs and the division, with some help. The Texans are out of the picture but are playing at home and for pride after getting beat by the Raiders last week. I have to take the Bears now getting a field goal, with something to play for. Bears + 3
Take the Detroit Lions getting 11 at the Green Bay Packers. The Lions have said this is there Superbowl and they need the win to avoid being the first team to go 0-16. The Packers have been garbage as of late but have a huge advantage playing a dome team at the frozen tundra. I think 11 points is too much though, take the Lions getting 11. Lions + 11
Take the Oakland Raiders getting 2 touchdowns on the road against the Tampa Bay Bucs. The Bucs are playing for a playoff birth and it is a must win, I see them winning the game by 10 but not covering the spread. Oakland played well last week, lets hope that continues. Raiders + 14
Take the Kansas CIty Chiefs getting a field goal on the road at the Cincinatti Bengals. Both teams have been playing better as of late but the Chiefs have been in a lot of close games this year. Chiefs + 3
Take the Pittsburgh Steelers giving 11 points to the Cleveland Browns in Pittsburgh. The Browns are the worst team in football right now and have not scored an offensive touchdown in almost 2 months! I know the Steelers have there spot in the playoffs locked, I just can’t see them letting down. Steelers -11
over 50
The game for all the marbles and the AFC West Division is a tough line. I like the San Diego Chargers winning at home against the Denver Broncos but do not like them giving up 9 points. Instead I will take the over 50 point scored total, as I see this as a shoot out. Take the Over 50 points
This Sunday afternoon game will be the biggest of the day as the Dallas Cowboys are a 1.5 underdog on the road against the Philadelphia Eagles. For Dallas it is win and your in, the Eagles need a win and a little bit of luck. I will take Dallas getting the point and a half. Cowboys+ 1.5

The afternoon games are just starting but for the record know that I personally went with the Raiders getting 7.5 , the Bills getting 5.5 , the Seahawks getting 3.5 and the Panthers getting 4
Take the Carolina Panthers getting 4 on the road against the NY Giants. This is a huge game for both teams as playoff home field advantage is up for grabs. Panthers + 4

Learn MoreNFL Saturday night pick week 16 (last week 4 for 5)
Last Updated on Saturday, 20 December 2008 10:28 Written by admin Saturday, 20 December 2008 10:27
Tonight’s game is the Dallas Cowboys at 9-5 hosting the Baltimore Ravens, also 9-5. This is a huge game for both teams and really a must win to stay ahead in the playoff race with 2 weeks left. The line on this game is the Cowboys giving 4 at home. I take the Cowboys in this one but I buy the point down to 3, so you are protected if this is won by a field goal witch it very well could be. You are probably thinking why not take the Ravens then getting 4 ?? Good question, I could also see the Cowboys winning big, so you are playing it safer and covering more possible outcomes. Cowboys ( buy the point down ) – 3
– Jim Donaghy (last week 4 out of 5) overall 7-3-1

Take the KC Chiefs getting 6 points at home against the San Diego Chargers. It’s a division game and the Chargers though mathematically alive are pretty much out of playoff contention. CHIEFS + 6
Take the Miami Dolphins giving 6.5 at home against the San Francisco 49ers. It is rumored that Frank Gore did not make the team flight to Miami because of last weeks injury and that Deshaun Foster will start at running back. Miami is in a 3 way tie for the division and will need to keep pace. Parcels will have the Dolphins ready. DOLPHINS – 6.5
Take the Dallas Cowboys giving up 2.5 at home against the NY Giants. Yes the Cowboys are internally feuding but this is the make or break game for a Super Bowl run. Marion Barber is banged up for the Boy’s but the Giants are without CHEDDA BOB aka Plaxico Burress (as Miles Cyrus says) and Brandon Jacobs. Jerry Jones is betting on his Boys and you should too. COWBOYS – 2.5
The NY Jets Buffalo Bills game in NY is a tough line to call in my opinion. The odds makers have the Jets a 7.5 favorite. It is a division game and the Jets haven’t played too well as of late. If you want to make money on this game take the Jets, who must win to keep pace in the division race with the Dolphins and Patriots, with the money line winning the game straight up. It won’t pay as much but it will make you money!! Plus it’s not as risky a pick. JETS MONEY LINE TO WIN
On Monday night take the Philadelphia Eagles at home against the Cleavland Browns giving up 14. The Browns at this point might be the worst team in the NFL. Ken Dorsey is starting at QB and has yet to throw a touchdown this season. The Eagles defense will be ready in this one, blitzing Dorsey all night. Look for the Eagles to dominate and cover the 2 touchdown spread. EAGLES – 14
