Former Pro Bowl QB Derek Anderon was released by the Cleveland Browns today. Here is what he had to say :

“The fans are ruthless and don’t deserve a winner,” Anderson wrote Tuesday in a terse e-mail when asked for a reaction to being released. “I will never forget getting cheered when I was injured.

“I know at times I wasn’t great. I hope and pray I’m playing when my team comes to town and (we) roll them.”

Like Tom Brady says, do your talking on the field !! Although I think he would be a good fit for the Cardinals, Vikings (If Farve doesn’t come back) or as a back up on the Jets.

The Bears and Julius Peppers finalized a six-year deal to bring the top free agent in 2010 to Chicago.

Peppers was looking for at least $12 million a year in the early part of the contract. The agreement could be worth $40 million over the first three years.

Chad Ochocinco rolled through Roscoe’s House of Chicken ‘n Waffles in L.A. last night without his quarterback Carson Palmer … because according to Chad, the two “don’t get along during the off-season.”

It seems that it’s all over an incident from last off-season when Carson’s wife wouldn’t let Ochocinco stay at their home after she gave birth to twins. Last night Chad told us, “Tell Carson let me babysit those twins … then I’ll talk to him.”We’re not really sure if the Cincinnati Bengals star was jokin’ or not — but he looked pretty damn serious when he told us how badly he wants fellow NFL receiver Terrell Owens to join his squad … even insisting he’d take a pay cut to get T.O. in stripes.

I wouldn’t be comfortable with Ochocinco baby sitting Carson Palmer’s kids so how do you think his wife feels ??!!  That was a borderline “Creeper” statement IMO
